In cooperation with the traffic police, EASST’s road safety partner in Belarus the BKA has developed a mobile app for children to help them learn and understand the rules of the road in a fun and interactive way.

The BKA identified that children from 8 years old upwards tend to start to walk to school unaccompanied by their parents and therefore require a clearer knowledge of the rules of the road to avoid putting themselves unknowingly in dangerous situations. The app therefore is targeted towards children aged 8 and above and their parents and approaches road safety in an innovative way relevant to the child.
The app called ‘Smart Road’ is available to download free of charge from the BKA and Traffic Road Police websites, Play market or App Store:
