EASST’s Armenian partner, National Road Safety Council NGO, has called on all insurance companies in Armenia to meet at the end of April 2014. Agreement has been reached that the road safety NGO will organise a seminar for all to attend in order to encourage them to invest in road safety initiatives.
As of 2011, it has been compulsory in Armenia to have car insurance. Companies are paying out large sums due to preventable road traffic collisions. NRSC NGO with ‘RosGosStrakh’ – a leading Armenian insurance company – will host the seminar in Yerevan.
