EASST’s Georgian partner, the award-winning Partnership for Road Safety Foundation has launched a new children’s road safety book titled ‘Drive a Bicycle Safely’.

The book is the first of its kind to be produced in the Georgian language. It provides children with both theory and practical exercises in addition to information on bicycle maintenance, traffic rules and other key safety lessons.

In 2012 the Foundation opened the first road safety school in Georgia

An electronic version of the book has been provided to some public schools of Tbilisi where pilot road safety lessons will be conducted.  The Foundation plans to distribute the book more widely in the future.

The book is viewable online via the Foundation’s website: http://www.safedrive.ge/Safedrive_WorkBook.pdf
