EASST’s Ukrainian partner, Road Safety Support Foundation, has officially signed an agreement with the State Traffic Police of Ukraine committing them both to work together towards the reduction of road deaths and injuries.
The partnership will see Road Safety Support Foundation and the Traffic Police organising and participating in joint activities, such as the continuation of the Safe Villages project sponsored by the EBRD, and the development of a Press Club within the police.
Previous cooperation between Road Safety Support Foundation and the Traffic Police included a blood donation campaign to simultaneously raise awareness of the high number of road deaths in Ukraine and the need for blood donors in the country.
