Researchers from the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU) have designed and installed a new pedestrian crossing device to warn drivers of people crossing the road and to slow down.
The new solar-powered LED two-way stroboscope has been designed and installed outside the KRSU Medical Faculty and boasts a range of over 100 metres during the day, warning drivers of pedestrians using the crossing and reminding them to slow down.
