Today marks the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. A day set up by the International Labour Organisation to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally.

This includes road traffic collisions. One of the most common causes of workplace injury and fatality in the world with one in three road casualties involving people driving, riding or otherwise using the road for work.

As such, occupational road safety management is a key area of concern for EASST.

Therefore, to celebrate and mark the day, EASST Director Emma MacLennan has written a blog post on our EASST Academy website, dedicated specifically to the importance of fleet safety.
